Gain vital insights into your ASC’s performance with ASCA Benchmarking. This valuable survey is now free for ASCA members!

ASCA Benchmarking—formerly known as ASCA’s Clinical & Operational Benchmarking Survey—has been completely redesigned in 2026 to provide a more modern and personalized experience for your facility.

Highlights of the new survey include:

• a modern, user-friendly design that makes participation easier than ever
• a personalized survey experience to ensure you see only questions relevant to your center
• expanded and more detailed questions that provide deeper insights
• new specialty tracks for pediatrics, cardiovascular and endoscopy

Survey subscriptions include access to data from all four quarters of the year, and participation is open to all ASCs. ASCA members can access the 2026 survey for free; it is also available for purchase by nonmembers.

Participate in the Survey

Data for this survey is submitted quarterly. Participating facilities should submit data during each reporting period to ensure accurate and comprehensive reports.

Subscribe to the 2026 Survey

ASCA Member Facilities

New this year, ASCA members receive free access to the 2026 survey. Members must subscribe to the survey in order to receive access; you will not be charged when completing the subscription process.

Nonmember Facilities

Subscriptions are also available for purchase by nonmember facilities. The nonmember price is $4,079 for the 2026 survey.

New Participation Requirements

Beginning this year, your facility must answer at least 80% of the survey questions for a quarter  to receive access to that quarter’s report.

If your ASC doesn’t meet this requirement, you will not receive access to the report. Reports will not be available for purchase.

This new requirement applies to ALL facilities, regardless of ASCA membership status.

ASCA Benchmarking Overview

This valuable survey gives you access to a full year of national comparison data you can use to improve clinical outcomes, financial performance, staffing and more at your ASC.

Survey reports make it easy to measure your facility’s performance against all participating facilities or against similar ASCs, based on size, specialty, location and other characteristics. You can also use insights from the survey to identify areas to address in a QAPI study.

The main sections in the survey include:

There are five specialty-specific sections in the survey:

• Ophthalmology
• Endoscopy (new in 2026)
• Total Joint Replacement
• Complex Spine
• Cardiovascular (new in 2026)

Additional survey notes:

• ASCA member facilities subscribed to the survey must answer at least 80% of the questions to receive the quarterly report at no cost. If your ASC doesn’t meet this requirement, you will not receive access to the report. In addition, the report will not be available for purchase.
