ASCs that choose to receive reimbursement from CMS must obtain certification from the federal government. One way an ASC can do this is to seek deemed status through one of the four accreditation organizations (AO) recognized by CMS. Read this Digital Debut for more about the four AOs and how an ASCA virtual course can help you decide which one is best for your facility.
