Thursday, February 1

• ASCA is now accepting presentation proposals for the ASCA 2025 Conference & Expo. The submission deadline is March 31, 2024

Friday, February 2

• Deadline to complete this brief survey and let ASCA know which procedures you think should be added to CMS’ ASC Covered Procedures List (ASC-CPL)

Monday, February 5–Thursday, February 8

• Hear firsthand from representatives from AAAHC, ACHC, Quad A and The Joint Commission during the Getting to Know the ASC Accrediting Organizations virtual course, streaming each day from 12:00–3:30 pm ET. Sessions will be available on demand afterward

Thursday, February 15

• Data submission deadline for ASC-20: COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage Among Health Care Personnel (covering 2023 Q3 data)
• Fourth-quarter (Q4) reports from ASCA’s 2023 Clinical & Operational Benchmarking Survey available to subscribers 

Friday, February 23

• ASCA Assistant Director of Government Affairs Stephen Abresch will present the “ASCA Update” at 12:30 pm CT at the 2024 Virtual LASCA Annual Meeting hosted on Zoom

Monday, February 26–Wednesday, February 28

• ASCA members gather for National Advocacy Day in Washington, DC

Thursday, February 29

• Member benefits will be terminated for ASCs that have not renewed their ASCA membership for 2024. If you haven’t already, renew or join ASCA now!
• Deadline for Coding & Reimbursement for ASCs virtual course attendees to request nursing contact hours and Administrator Education Units (AEUs)

Month of February

• Register for the ASCA 2024 Conference & Expo before the room rates end on March 15. Registration rates are reduced by up to 40%!
• Visit ASCA’s new OAS CAHPS Survey page to learn more about the approved survey vendors and find out what you need to do to get started now. ASCA members receive a discount if they use Press Ganey as their survey vendor
• Subscribe to ASCA’s 2024 Clinical & Operational Benchmarking Survey before data submission begins on April 1
